Looking for english + german (B2) (+optional (italian, spanish)) speaking IT-HelpDesk Service Operator or Support Technician on a permanent position and for immediate or soon start in Munich for working in highly dynamic international environment. Also top motivated beginners are welcome! Due to legal requirements NATO security clearance required or must be achived, Eurofighter production countries passport (UK, German, Spanish, Italian) required by customer

Requirements/Knowledge/Experience:

 

  • Experience with System Administration (1st Level)
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration and Linux
  • Experience with Windows OS and Office Apps
  • Experience with Linux OS
  • Experience with NB Imaging and Deployment 
  • Experience with Directory Services
  • Experience with Software Deployment Tools
  • Experience with Virtualization Technologies
  • Experience with Physical patching,SDN,VPN and VLAN Troubleshooting
  • Experience with Mobile Device Managment Solutions
  • Knowledge of VideoConferencing Solutions
  • Knowledge of DNS,DHCP,TCP and UDP

You have the necessary understanding and sensitivity to the SLAs

Existing ITIL V5 Foundation certification is an advantage (if not, willingness to certify)

Good English skills (written and spoken) are required as well as basic knowledge of German (B2)

Willingness to strictly follow client processes and internal procedures (mandatory).

You are able to work under pressure and keep on top of things even during stressful peak times

Flexibility in working hours/shifts

High team spirit, reliability, punctuality

You can set priorities and have a hands-on mentality

Willingness to work on Saturday and some bank holidays

 

Security check (Ü2) available or willing to have it done

We are looking for a Unix System Administrator (m/f/d) with a strong hands-on mentality, solid troubleshooting skills, and the motivation to keep complex IT environments secure, reliable, and well-documented.

You will join an experienced international team and contribute to systems that support demanding stakeholders and security-sensitive projects.

Your role

In this position, you will support the operation, administration, and continuous improvement of Unix/Linux-based systems, primarily in Red Hat environments.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Administer Unix/Linux-based operating systems, including troubleshooting, installation and setup.
  • Maintain compliance with security policies, including patch management and vulnerability remediation.
  • Perform backups and recovery using tools such as Netbackup.
  • Basic hardware management including racking, card/disk replacements, attaching to network(s), etc.
  • Installing third party software following provided instructions.
  • Document architecture, procedures, and operational guidelines for system administration.

 

  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills (including acquiring relevant certifications).
  • Willingness to work in a rotation system (to cover the service hours) and to work outside working hours (usually one Saturday per month).

 

Your profile

  • Strong expertise in Unix/Linux system administration (RHEL8, RHEL9, or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Unix/Linux systems.
  • Working with ticket system for incidents, problems, change management and configuration management.
  • Certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), or similar is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of English—spoken and written.

 

Nice to have

  • IT related Bachelor or Master degree
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Ability to Shell Script
  • Knowledge of Container Technolog, especially Rancher
  • VMWare/KVM knowledge
  • Windows Server knowledge

Important information
