Junior OFM/DBA Administrator

Data-Warehouse GmbH is an expanding software manufacturer and service provider. Over the last 20 years the company has developed into a system house with its own product portfolios in the area of holistic, high quality information management, information logistics and process optimization, security and cyber strategy and compliance/data protection consulting.

The position is for a junior OFM (Oracle Fusion Middleware) and DBA (Database Administrator). The successful candidate is expected to require training in order to perform the role. The candidate’s attitude and willingness to learn will be far more important than their existing skills.

The job is located in the north of Munich (on site as no remote working is possible).

Tasks:

  • Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration
    This will include administration of Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle WebCenter Portal, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle HTTP Server, and Oracle Security Service (SSL/Network). It will also involve some administration of Oracle WebCenter Content (UCM), Oracle Business Process Management, Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Webgate, and Oracle Internet Directory.
  • Database Administration
    This will primarily involve Oracle Database administration, but may also include MySQL and SQL Server.
  • LINUX/UNIX Tasks
    , the use of LINUX/UNIX to perform the other tasks associated with this role.
  • Working with ticket system for incidents, problems, change management and configuration management

Requirements/Knowledge/Experience:

  • A background in IT (working in IT or an IT related degree)
  • Any knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware would be helpful
  • Any knowledge of Oracle IDM would be useful
  • Any knowledge of ITIL would be useful.
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux would be helpful
  • General skills such as writing of documentation
  • A willingness to learn new skills (including studying in their own time)
  • The candidate should also be able to speak and write in English
  • Security check (Ü2) available or willing to go through the process to acquire it
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills (including acquiring relevant certifications)
  • Willingness to work in a rotation system (to cover the service hours) and to work outside working hours (usually one Saturday per month) 

Fluency in English (written and spoken), basic knowledge of German would be desirable

Due to special requirements, it is necessary to undergo security clearance

German, British, Spanish or Italian nationality is required.
